Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Service Fees & Statement Descriptor
Coaching and strategic-planning service fees are collected via our payment stack (self-hosted Hyperswitch → Authorize.net → Elavon/U.S. Bank, with Stripe as fallback during parallel run). Your card or wallet statement will show PROSPERITY PLANNING LLC (or P*PROSPERITYPLANNING for some banks). This exact text appears on your receipt email — it is your #1 way to recognize the charge and avoid a dispute.

2. All Fees Non-Refundable (Except Where Required by Law)
Session fees are earned when the coaching session is delivered. All fees are non-refundable except where a refund is required under card-network rules or Idaho law, or where a duplicate/erroneous charge occurred. This is the same term in our Terms of Service §4.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Cancel/reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled session via /schedule or by emailing info@prosperityplanningllc.net — no fee.
- Late cancellations (<24h) or no-shows are considered delivered; the fee is retained.
- If we must cancel, we will reschedule at no charge or refund that single session at our discretion.
4. Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate, wrong amount, or service not delivered), contact us within 7 days at info@prosperityplanningllc.net with the last-4 of the card, date, and amount. We will investigate and, if confirmed, issue a refund via the same payment processor (Hyperswitch/ Authorize.net or Stripe fallback) within 5 business days. Refunds appear in 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
5. Referral Rewards Are Separate
Referral $25 rewards (see /referral-terms) are paid to the referrer after the referred client's first paid session; they are not a discount or refund to the referred client. Referral payouts are processed within 14 days of the qualifying payment.
6. How to Request a Review
Email info@prosperityplanningllc.net with subject “Refund Review — [your name]”. Include the invoice number if you have it (from Odoo or your receipt). We respond within 2 business days. If we cannot resolve it directly, you retain all rights under Reg Z / your card-network dispute process — see our Privacy Policy for processor contacts.
7. Underwriting Disclosure
Our merchant account is underwritten by Elavon/U.S. Bank and gated via Authorize.net; Hyperswitch is our self-hosted orchestration layer, and Stripe is retained as a fallback connector for the first 60 days after cutover. This policy satisfies card-network visibility requirements and was in place before underwriting.
